Diagnostic Services

Radiology

Radiographs (x-rays) are one of the most useful diagnostic tools for treating your pet. If a lump or growth is found on your pet's body during an exam, an x-ray can determine the size, shape and location of the mass. X-rays are also useful in pinpointing tumors and foreign bodies (such as bones or chew toys) and diagnosing heart and lung disease, gastrointestinal problems and bladder stones.

Our modern digital equipment produces excellent, high-quality x-rays that are used to diagnose your pet's medical condition quickly and accurately.

Diagnostic Laboratory
Your pet cannot tell us when he or she is sick and sometimes, physical exams do not detect all the signs of disease. Routine blood testing helps us spot diseases, parasites and other health problems that may not be seen during a physical exam. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory can measure many laboratory values, with results often available in just a few minutes.

Our extensive laboratory services provide information that is critical to the sick or injured pet. We have access to extensive diagnostic testing, allowing animals to receive appropriate treatment in a timely manner. Our laboratory is capable of processing numerous blood tests, including chemistry profiles, urinalysis, fecal screening, blood glucose and complete blood counts (CBC). We also process pre-anesthetic blood tests, which are often necessary before your pet undergoes anesthesia and surgery.
